Rick Reynolds served as a sniper in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and held the military record for the longest confirmed night sniper shot for more than 20 years.
After leaving military Rick Reynolds moved on to patrol the border. He served on Albuquerque (NM) Police Department's original special response team (anti-crime) as a sniper and also on their street decoy program.
Rick Reynolds has been shot, stabbed, hit by a car, and had his nose broken 12 times, hospitalized over 6 times in the line of duty yet never lost a fight. Oh and did I mention he's only about 150 pounds. So if his fighting system absolutely had to work against larger stronger opponents.
Rick Reynolds is so respected and feared he has been hired as a body guard for men nearly twice his size including: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferigno (the Hulk), heavyweight boxer Randall "Tex" Cobb.
Aside from his real world street level experience Rick Reynolds holds black belts in karate, kung fu, and tae kwon do. He was selected and served as a coach on the USA Karate team for the 1995 Goodwill Games held in Sydney, Australia.
The fighting system Rick Reynolds developed (which he has taught to FBI agents, big-city SWAT teams, top secret U.S. military units) is called Explosive Metafighting Technologies (X-TecTM).
